Actel announced in May of this year a last time buy notice for the RH1020 and RH1280 devices.
It seems that the world wide availability for these devices is 1,500 units ! Therefore, a lot of customers that think they are getting these devices, will not obtain them at all.
Aeroflex can convert these RH1020 and RH1280 devices to ASICs and offer customers a device that is cheaper, mechanically and electrically compatible, with guaranteed quality and radiation characteristics!
Aeroflex can place up to 4 different FPGA designs on the same wafer making it even more economically feasible to replace the Actel devices. The conversion is done by Aeroflex and the customer technical involvement is minimized.Aeroflex will also offer a long term supply guarantee if necessary. More information:
